| Two held with banned drugs | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , Jun 11: Police today arrested two persons and recovered banned drugs from their possession during a naka falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Bishnah. "On specific information police party raised naka at Bishnah and during intercepted a person for his suspicious movements especially on seeing the police team," said Police sources here today. They said the identity of the accused persons have been kept secret so that their associates too can be apprehended during investigations.
Police sources further said, "During frisking of the accused police recovered some quantity of banned (strictly prescription drugs) drugs from his possession and during preliminary questioning the accused revealed that he used to buy the drugs from a locality in Samba.
"Following the disclosures, police raided a place at Samba and arrested the owner of shop, Police sources said. Meanwhile Police have registered case in this connection and further investigations are on. |
