Early Times Report JAMMU, June 11: Appealing the entire KP community particularly its all organizational leaders, activists and representatives of Conferences, Samitis and Sabhas which include ASKPC, KPC, AIKPC, PK, AIKS, KSD, VM, ROOTS, APMCC and others to unite numerically as well as ideologically, the Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) said that unity is imperative in achieving the set goals. KPC President Kundan Kashmiri asked the community members to sacrifice their personal egos and show willingness to bear personal displeasures in the larger interest of the community. "We all must understand that we are passing through very critical period of history, everybody is watching us in particular those widows, orphans and old aged isolated couples wailing for the death of their children, near and dear ones by militants, sun strokes, snake bites and waiting to know the reason for which they have been punished and have lot of hopes attached to their community leadership," Said Kashmiri. This unity is urge of all those community sufferers, living in rented and tented accommodations, clusters, muddy lanes and dusty streets of Jammu, Udhampur, Kathua, Delhi and other parts of the country. They all are optimistic that it would not be much difficult for these community leaders and organizations to make platform of unity with uniformity, transparency and fair to launch an effective struggle for the common objective of the community. KPC president appealed to community members to take pledge for standing together, avoid contradictions with each other and to launch together an effective struggle in practical and united manner, visible on the ground in order to invite the attention of state and centre governments, politicians and leaders running the polity of the nation. "Let us follow our joint cause and our common goal. At the same time it is not only organizational leaders and activists, but all individuals of the community to participate in community struggle to safeguard the honour, dignity and identity of the community," said KPC president. |
