One yr imprisonment awarded to driver in 'death of pedestrian' 6/11/2015 11:11:27 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, June 11: Special Mobile Magistrate (Electricity) R H Mirza awarded one year imprisonment to Bachan Singh a driver of minibus in negligent and rash driving case resulting into the death of the pedestrian namely as Harnam Kour. After hearing Senior P/O KK Kotwal appearing for the state, Special Mobile Magistrate (Electricity) R H Mirza observed that the prosecution has proved the offences beyond any shadow of doubt as Prosecution witnesses examined in Court have supported the prosecution story, as such accused is found guilty U/S 279/304-A RPC and is convicted accordingly and sentenced to undergo imprisonment for one year and fine Rs 1000.
