AAP protests against hazardous health conditions in State | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, June 11: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) activists staged protest against prevailing hazardous health condition in Jammu and Kashmir especially in Jammu and alleged that nearly 27 patients suffered glucose reaction in a day in Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu in January 2015. Activists alleged that these glucoase reaction in GMC hospital's emergency under the nose of top state health bureaucracy as also the government in winter capital Jammu. "We can be imagined the condition of district or block level hospitals of remote areas which are beyond doubt, on mercy of god, "they added. They also said that as per media exposures of recent 18 drugs were found sub-standard during March 2014, cases registered against the company for supplying spurious drugs and licenses of 14 drug companies suspended but astonishing to say that nothing concrete action has come to fore to the knowledge of common masses. They alleged that a nexus between government and private incubators in the name of saving the lives of newly born babies and poor people of far flung areas are being fleeced to the extent of thousands of rupees per day for keeping their newly born babies in incubation. Incubators are not available in even district hospitals, PHCs or CHS, the facility only have GMC hospital Jammu hardly meet the demand and the needy are referred to private operators against heavy and organized commission network. They urged upon CM to took deep into the matter and take strict action as pointe out in the foregoing paras. Deep Singh, Ram Singh Chouhan, KK Rao, Anil Kumar Gaind, Udhay Chand, Ayub Ayayn, Gurtaj Singh, Jaidev Charak, Ram Pal Khajuria, Gurpeet Singh, Om Parkash Manhas were present on the occasion. |
