Revenue Deptt Clerk lands in vigilance net 7/2/2015 11:43:15 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, July 2: The sleuths of State Vigilance Organisation (SVO) today caught one Parveen Kumar presently working as PRC (Permanent Resident Certificate) section clerk in the Office of NaibTehsildar, Arnia, red handed while demanding and accepting bribe from one Shakti Ram Saini for processing the PRC file of his wife and sons. According to vigilance spokesperson, complainant Shakti Ram Saini lodged a written report in Vigilance Organisation alleging therein that a PRC case is pending with accused clerk for the last 5/6 months despite complainant has already paid Rs.500/- as enticement. "Now, the accused is again demanding Rs.700/- more as bribe for processing the same," SVO spokesperson said quoting the complainant. He said, "Accordingly, a case against FIR No.26/2015 u/s 5(1) (d) PC Act 2006 r/w 161 CrPC was registered at P/S VOJ and investigation taken up."A trap team was constituted and the accused official Parveen Kumar s/o Sardari Lal of Arnia, Jammu presently PRC Clerk in the Office of NaibTehsildar, Arnia was caught red handed in presence of independent witnesses while demanding and accepting bribe from complainant for processing the PRC file of his wife and sons.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
