NABARD organizes one day Financial Literacy Camp on recently announced Social Security Schemes 7/3/2015 12:01:32 AM Early Times Report DODA, July 02: NABARD organized a one day financial literary Camp in order to create awareness in every nook and corner of Doda district about the need for financial inclusion with special focus on PM Jan Dhan Yojna and recently announced Social Security Schemes of G O I viz. Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojna and Atal Pension Yojna. The camp was organized at Higher Secondry School Khellani of Doda district for the benefit of the Children of 12th Standard. In his elaborate address, DDM NABARD Rajesh Kumar Badyal enlightened the participants about the need of Social Security Schemes viz. Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojna and Atal Pension Yojna. The queries and the doubts of the Students were also clarified on the spot. Besides availability of the facilty of education loan with every bank for the benefit of the meritorious students for pursuing professional courses after 12th standard was also explained to the satisfaction of the students. Later on a quiz completion was also held and students were given prizes. LDM SBI Naseeb Sambyal apprised the Students about the saving and the credit products being offered by banks. Branch head J&K Bank agreed to open accounts of the students in school itself.
