JAMMU, July 03: As a part of "Digital India Week", the Department of Posts has earmarked upon a major initiative to bring people closer to Post Offices and provide them customer friendly services in Jammu and Kashmir.
On the Third day of the above said drive "Education" Day was observed in different CBS Post Offices in J&K Circle. In this context students from various schools visited the computerized Post offices where these children's were educated about the digitizationof Post Offices. The school children were appraised about the various services being rendered by the Department of Posts to the society. The initiative of the department was appreciated by the students as well as faculty members accompanying them.
These events were also organized at Udhampur HO,Leh HO, Gandhi Nagar HO, Jammu Tawi HO, Kathua HO, BaramullaHO Complex, Srinagar GPO, Rajouri Head Post Office and Anantnag Head Post Office. |
