Kishtwar Administration turns blind eye towards open blackmarketing | | |

Kishtwar, July 17: The people of Kishtwar rued the role of District administration and other agencies to check the open blackmarketing of essential commodities as well as sale of substandard goods to the people on the eve of Eid ul Fitar, particularly the poor quality of meat and vegetables. While talking to "Early Times" the people said that poor quality and substandard stuff including vegetables, meat and other essential commodities are being said to people, beside the shopkeepers charges extra money from the people while at the same time under wait goods were provided to the people. The people also rued the sale of poor quality meat to the people while people at the same time people also slammed municipality officials as well as Food Safety and Standard officer Kishtwar for her failure to check the blackmarketing as well as the quality of the goods. The people informed that Food Safety and Standard officers did not pay heed to public concern, added that hardly any officer was seen on ground to check the open loot by shopkeepers.
