Three bodies were recovered from Kullan area falling under Ganderbal district where a cloudburst struck on Thursday evening.

However locals of the area said that cloudbursts caused extensive damage to scores of residential houses, besides destroying crops worth lakhs of rupees.
Villagers said that scores of kanals of land with standing crops got damaged in cloudburst and heavy rains.
Last week, two boys of a family were killed and two others went missing when a cloudburst struck Pahalgam area.
According to officials from Public Health Engineering (PHE), portable water supply to Srinagar from areas like Rangil and Alasteng shall remain affected for time being as cloudburst in Sonamarg has aggravated the turbidity of the Sindh.

A cloudburst also hit Haapat Naar in south Kashmir's Anantnag district Thursday late evening. As per reports the cloudburst washed nine houses away.
Reports of cloud burst incidents were also received from upper reaches of Shopian and Kulgam districts of South Kashmir.
