Stern message: Be honest to workers, cause of Jammu or lose assigned ‘jobs’ | BJP ministers, MLAs pulled up at RSS introspection session | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 17: Constantly under scanner from various quarters, BJP ministers and even MLAs have been pulled up to the hilt on a platform from where the reprimands and admonishment matters most for party leaders. The message that has emerged is like a clear writing on the wall , more like a warning -be honest and concentrate towards the BJP workers and cadres on whose sweat and toil public gave them mandate. They have also been asked sternly not to forget the cause nor people or their problems for which they are in the alliance government. Sources said in the three day marathon introspection session (Chinatan -Manthan) of RSS at Ved Mandir few days back, the report card of the BJP ministers and MLAs has not gone well instead it came under severe criticism for a number of reasons. The introspection session which was attended by top leaders of RSS and its sister organizations like Bjarang Dal, VHP saw most of the leaders who matter in giving roadmap to the party expressed resentment over what they termed as dissatisfactory performance of those in the power. Disenchantment was more for the fact that both ministers as well as the elected representatives are not paying heed to concerns of workers on a host of public oriented issues, sources said adding that perpetual reports have come suggesting Karyakartas (workers) are being ignored deliberately. Sources further said that in the RSS session while many leaders took on certain ministers and even senior party functionaries pointing out at them by name, what beckoned this annoyance was a stern message- "if they attribute non performance or ignorance towards workers to any compulsion, it must be equally clear to them that there are no compulsions for the party to keep them in the echelons of power. …..". The strong message has also come for whole lot of MLAs the complaints about whom have gone to length and breadth that they are showing attitude towards the workers, sources said adding that there are few MLAs who do not even acknowledge the presence of BJP workers at any place or their offices, leave alone listening to their problems. Most of the ministers under fire line have been conveyed through various channels neglecting workers or cause of Jammu people would cost them their 'assigned' jobs forthwith in case they do not fall in that order, sources said adding that it has been made amply clear to some leaders individually that their identity and status is linked to the party and organization and they should not consider themselves above this anymore.
