PDD issues inflated electricity bills | | | Early Times Report
SUNDERBANI, July 17: The Power Development Department (PDD) has been allegedly issuing electricity bills with wrong readings and mostly inflated bills. Peoples alleged that no meter reader or any other officials from the department visit to take readings. They insert their own readings. Talking with Early Times reporter Neeraj, Sham Lal resident of Bagoti, Bhambla said that every month wrong bill are received. He added that according to readings of the bills, in the month of April the Units consumed are 35 units, in the month of May it was increased by 7 times more and the units consumed are 240 units, again in june units consumed are 45 units. He said that their meter reader Jyoti kumar and J.E. Roshan Lal doesn't came to take readings & not in contact with common man. |
