| First Women's Police Cell dedicated to Nowshera people | | | Early Times Report
Nowshera, Oct 11 : SSP Rajouri Dr Haseeb Mughal today dedicated the first Women's Police Cell in Nowshera of Rajouri district during a special programme organized here today.
The Women Cell was formally dedicated by Senior Superintendent of Police Rajouri, Dr Haseeb Mughal in presence of a large number of prominent women personalities of Nowshera.
A cultural programme was also organised by District Police on this occasion held at Nowshera under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Surgan Shukla.
Speaking on the occasion, the SSP Rajouri Dr Mughal assured the women of locality that it is the prerogative of District Police to uphold the rights of the women and the Women Cell will definitely make a better and safer place for fairer sex. He appealed them to come forward and utilize the services of this cell in case of any kind of crime against them.
Earlier SDPO Nowshera Surgan Shukla briefed the gathering about the Women Cell which will entirely managed by the women staff to restore a sense of confidence among woman folk who had any problem. |
