SSB Jawan from Kathua martyred in Maoists attack in Jharkhand 10/11/2015 11:53:14 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Oct 11: Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) jawan hailing from Kathua was martyred in Maoists attack at village Kathaldeh Distt Gooda in Jharkhand when the SSB patrol party was ambushed by the Maoists. According to reports the martyred Jawan has been identified as Sanjeet Kumar S/o Ex Subedar Vijay Kumar of Uttrai some 7 km away here from Kathua town. The whole village of Uttari -Kathua today mourned the tragic death of the son of soil. The villagers were shocked when news of martyrdom reached the village," the reports said. Aggrieved father Vijay Kumar for whom the sky has fallen with heavy voice said an official (Sub-inspector SSB) telephonically informed them about the causality. Asserting, being proud of martyrdom of his son who laid down his life for nation, aggrieved father recalled that Sanjeet joined SSB in 2010 and passed out parade in 11th BRTC, CT/ED Batch Gorakhpur in 2012. "And he got married early this year in February and is left by minor brother and a sister, shell shocked father said.
