Agri Deptt Casual Labourers stage protest 10/11/2015 11:53:22 PM Early Times Report Doda Oct 11: Casual employees engaged with Agricultural Department today stage protest outside Agriculture Complex CAO Office Doda and highlighted their long pending demands. Hundreds of casual labourers from Agri- Engineering Work shop Doda (Ramban /Kishtwar) and other areas participated in this protest held under the banner of Agriculture Deptt, Casual Labourers Union. The protestors amid slogans in support of their demands alleged that state government has adopted delaying tactics to frame the policy for regularization of casual labourers. Trade unionist Raman said that the record of 251 casual labourers is lying with Administration Deptt for regularization but till date nothing has been done. Speakers also said that the casual Labourers of the Agri Deptt have been rendering services and are drawing the wages on muster sheets through Govt.Treasuries w.e.f.1994 & their case is fit for regularization.
