Kathua, Oct 11: As a part of drive against drug menace, a Drug Abuse Awareness Camp was organized by District Police Kathua in collaboration with the management of Little Angel Higher Secondary School Kathua.
It was attended by parents as well as children of the school. In the camp, Dr. Idress Wani, Dy SP (P) and Inspector Saroop Singh, SHO P/S Kathua were also present. On the occasion, Dr. Idress Wani, DySP (P) and Inspector Saroop Singh, SHO P/S Kathua briefed/ interacted with the parents as well as children of the school and make them aware of the hazards of the drugs and advised the parents to take care of their children to keep them away from such menace.
Kathua police vowed to continue it endeavor to organize such campaign in each school especially to sensitized the parents of the teen age children as this is the age when children fall in trap of drug abuse which later becomes very difficult to cure. |
