Class IV employee dies of snake bite 10/11/2015 11:53:57 PM Early Times Report Vijaypur, Oct 11: A class IV employee working with Police department died of snake bite here today. Reports from Uttarbehni said the deceased identified as Parveen Kumar s/o Tara Chand died after nine days struggle for life after a snake bit him last Saturday. They said, "Parveen Kumar had gone to temple to offer prayers when a poisonous snake bit him.'' The locals and family members immediately shifted him to Accidental Hospital Vijaypur from where doctors referred him to Govt Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu. However finding no relief the family members shifted him to Ludhaina (Punjab) where he succumbed to fatality of venom and doctors declared him dead. The deceased was cremated at Prayag Raj Utterbehani with Full guard of honour by J&k Samba police and large number of locals who bade last adieu to departed soul.
