Forum demands fill up of vacancies under fast track 10/11/2015 11:54:03 PM Early Times Reoprt Udhampur, Oct 11: All J & K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum demanded filling up of the vacancies by DPC and through PSC under fast track direct recruitment to regulate the teaching learning process in the schools in a proper manner. According to press release, a monthly meeting of the district Udhampur unit of the Forum was held at Udhampur under the chairmanship of Ashok Sharma, district President and discussion was held on the various problems and issues pertaining to the +2 Cadre. The speakers expressed concern over the large number of vacancies of different teaching and non teaching cadres, especially in schools falling in remote and farflung areas. They also demanded enhancement in the grade pay of Principals and declaration of their post as non vacational,removal of pay anomaly of lecturers in Physical Education,Running Pattern in favour of+2cadre,formulation and implementation of rational Transfer Policy and regularisation of all Jt.Directors, Chief Education Offices, Principals and lecturers serving in the Incharge capacity in the School Education Department. Speaking on the occassion, Ashok Sharma appreciated the Education Minister for taking innovative measures such as evening classes, developing some schools as Model Schools, Smart classes in the Government schools and others. He also urged the government to take urgent steps to post teaching and non teaching staff in the schools facing shortage of staff. He also demanded that all the in-charge incumbents in the School Education Department be regularised at the earliest and other demands of the plus 2 Cadre including the benefit of running pattern in favour of +2 Cadre, enhancement of the grade pay of principals at par with their counterparts in KVs and JNVs and declaration of their post as non vocational, removal of the pay anomaly of the lecturers in Physical Education, establishment of Human Resource Management Cell at the Directorate level. He also demanded enhancement in the remuneration in the rates of supervisory and evaluation duties of JKBOSE, holding of various examinations in time, clearance of bills of the Practical Examiners, appointment of Superintendents and Dy.
