| CEO Poonch inspects schools in Mandi Zone | | | M.S.Nazki

POONCH Oct 11: Ch. Lal Hussain, Chief Education Officer Poonch alongwith Mohd Latief Principal HSS Girls Mandi, inspected some schools in Sabjian Sector of District Poonch . Govt. During surprise inspection, the Primary School Meeran and co-located School PS Purian were found closed . All the three teachers namely Flower Akhter, Nahida Iqbal and Imran Khan of PS Meeran Purian are placed under suspension with immediate effect with directions to report to Headmaster High School Plera, Bedar and Aral respectively for further duties. In High School Bedar irregularities in respect of Mid-day Meal, maintenance of teacher's dairies, science practicals equipments, assignment of home task and subsequent correction work were observed. The salaries of Headmaster High School Bedar Naseem Akhtar and incharge Mid-Day Meal, Sanjeev Kumar Sharma were kept withheld as the latter was found involved in poor quality and less quantity of cooked Mid-Day Meal being provided to the students.
During inspection, High School Gagrian was also found closed and the salay of the whole staff of High School Gagrian including the Headmaster Harpal Kour was kept withheld. As many as 65 members of Teaching community of the eight schools which were inspected in the periphery of Mandi Zone have been issued show cause notices directing them to clear their position and also intimate the reasons of not maintaining the teachers dairies as per the given format and guidelines provided during the Direct Interactive Drive launched in all the Zones one by one in Mandi Zone. |
