SDM Ghagwal inspects educational institutions 10/17/2015 11:50:21 PM Early Times Report SAMBA, Oct 17: SDM Ghagwal S. Charanjeet Singh today paid surprise visit to various govt educational institutions and took stock of their functioning. He inspected attendance registers, availability of water supply, toilet facility, mid day meal and also interacted with students. At Primary School Jasath, school building was found unsafe and in bad condition. Mid day menu chart was not displayed .There was no water supply and toilets were also not functional. ZEO Ghagwal was directed to take up the matter with higher authorities regarding bad condition of school building. In Middle School, Ghagwal two teachers were found absent as they had marked their attendance and left school before 12 noon by applying half day leave.ZEO Ghagwal was directed to call the explanation of the absentees and keep their salary withheld. At Primary School Chhan Matlooni , it was found that teacher failed to mark their attendance properly. Moreover, menu chart of mid day meal was not displayed and toilets were non functional.
