Rich tributes paid to Didi Nirmala Desh Pandey 10/17/2015 11:53:03 PM Jammu, Oct 17 : Lawrence Public School students along with their teachers paid rich floral tributes to Didi Nirmala Desh Pandey, Padam Vibhushan, follower & disciple of Mahatma Gandhi & Vinoba Bhave on her 86th birth anniversary. A special assembly was conducted in which the students performed bhajan sandhya & spoke on the life of the great noble soul. The students highlighted her dedication towards the Gandhian ideology & teachings of Vinoba Bhave. Senior teachers recalled their old memories of Didi Nirmala Desh Pandey visiting Lawrence School, being the Founder Member of Gandhi Global Family & inspiring students to involve themselves in the Gandhi Global Family programmes. They highlighted her contribution towards the society & specially J&K in order to promote peace & harmony amongst its people.
