Workshop on teaching-learning strategy concludes 10/17/2015 11:56:00 PM Early Times Reports Jammu, Oct 17 : A week long workshop on "Teaching Learning Strategy " under the College Cluster Scheme organized by Govt. College of Education , Jammu from 12th to 17th of October 2015 concluded today with valedictory function which was presided over by Principal of the college Prof. Kaushal Smotra. In her address , she highlighted that learning education has always a beginning but never ends because learning is a constant process. It is the prime duty of the teachers to bring teaching to the intelligible level of the learners and they should work with zeal and zest. She emphasized that in order to come to the expectations of the learners, the teachers have to use the best possible teaching skills to make the various teaching subjects easily understandable to them. Earlier in the day technical session on "importance of ICT in education" was presented by Prof. Ashu Jolly, from the Deptt. of Education ,GCOE, Jammu. Presentation was followed by interactive session where questions and answers were dealt by Prof. Jolly. In the week-long workshop, resource persons of immense caliber in the different teaching subjects delivered lectures to the participants on the best methodologies that can be adopted to teach different teaching subjects.
