| Model academy organizes workshop on value based education | | |  Early Times Reports
Jammu, Oct 17 : In its ongoing efforts to impart value based education, Model Academy today conducted workshop for the students of the Primary Wing at both its branches on the theme 'Kindness'. The main objective of the workshop was to sensitize students to values like honesty, sincerity and truthfulness so that they are able to grow up as well balanced personalities.
Lalita Razdan who was the resource person explained in detail why it is important to be kind and imbibe sympathetic attitude in our value system. Students were shown a short story titled 'Slave and the Lion'.
In addition to this students presented a play to depict that kindness should be extended to animals besides showing to human beings.
The students of Residency Road School enacted a short skit during morning assembly titled 'Prince and the Swan' and a teacher talk was presented by Deepali Gupta. The workshop ended with an interactive session with the Project Director, Humming Buds, Ruchika Gupta who stressed upon the students to show kindness as the kindness never goes unrewarded in life. |
