Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 17: Maharaja Gulab Singh Birthday Celebration Committee (MGSBCC) to organize a function to celebrate birthday of Maharaja Ghulab Singh on October 21stat Mubarak Mandi Complex. Addressing media persons, committee member said prominent from all the trade, Social, Religious and literary organizations which were made commendable contribution towards the society will be invited. While, committee members also showed their resentment for not declaring state holiday on the Birthday of Maharaja Gulab Singh and not naming the University of Jammu after the name of Maharaja Gulab Singh who was the founder of the state. They also show their anguish over the delaying tactics of the government in the preservation and restoration of prestigious heritage 'Mubarak Mandi'. "The aim of organizing such programs in Mubarak Mandi premises just for to aware the general public about the deplorable condition of the Duggar heritage, they said and appealed the Dogras to join the programe to pay rich tribute to Maharaja Gulab Singh.
