Forest officers criticize authorities for maintain criminal silence | | | Early Times Reoprt JAMMU, Oct 17 All J&K Non-Gazetted Forest Officers Association has urged the Government to remove pay anomalies and provide them risk allowance. While addressing media persons, Ravi Kumar, provincial president criticized the authorities for maintaining criminal silence on their demands . He added that the authorities have made assurances number of times but their demands have not been conceded. The members of the association strongly stressed upo the authorities to defues the ongoing frustration developing among the Forest employees and concede their demands, otherwise the employees have to adopt the path of confrontation. They demanded removal of pay anomalies, provision of risk allowance and two and half days additional pay to the field staff. The Association also demanded up-gradation of 135 posts of Range Officers Grade-II, promotional avenues for field as well as ministerial staff, clearance of all pending SRO 43 cases and regularisation of all the daily rated workers engaged prior to ban. Ravi Kumar while speaking in the meeting cautioned the Government to address the pending issues of the NGFOA otherwise the Association will be forced to adopt agitational path. He also appealed all the Non-Gazetted officers/ employees to join hands to make protest a grand success. Others who presented on the occasion included Gurcharan Singh, Sr Vice President, Amardeep Singh, State organizer, Bhupinder Singh, General Secretary, Ajit Raj Joint Secretary, Rajesh Bakshi, Varinder Singh, Mahesh Abrol, R. S. Jasrotia and others. |
