SKUAST-J organizes In-service training programme 10/20/2015 11:06:01 PM early times report Jammu, Oct 20: Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Jammu under the aegis of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu and under the auspices of Directorate of Extension, SKUAST-J organized an In-service training programme on "Methodologies for Impact Evaluation of Extension Programme" at KVK Jammu for officers of the line departments. The training programme was attended by twenty one block level, sub divisional level and district level officers of Agriculture department. The programme started with welcome address by Dr. Sanjay Khar Programme Coordinator KVK RSPura. Dr. Khar informed the participants that conducting capacity building programmes for officers of the line departments is one of the mandates of the KVKs. Dr. Rakesh Sharma (Senior Scientist Agricultural Extension) KVK, Jammu delivered lectures on different aspects of evaluation. During the training programme, relevant literature was distributed among the participating officers. The vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Punit Choudhary (SMS, Agroforestry).
