JAMMU, Oct 20: Giving the ample time to already transferred inspectors to extend maximum pressure on senior police officers for revocation of the same, the Jammu police have adjusted and shifted only two inspectors in Jammu as SHO Bishnah and DPL respectively. These inspectors including Inspector Kulbir Singh from DPL to P/S Bishnah as SHO and Inspector Surinder Pal Singh from PS Bishnah to DPL.
The adjustment of the merely two was made while already transferred Inspectors remained glued to their respective chairs and are in no mood to get relieved. The recent adjustment revealed inability of the Jammu police to execute the transfer orders of influential Inspectors.
If the official sources are to be believed, taking undue advantage of the political links, the transferred inspectors whose range was changed by DIG Jammu Kathua range Ashkoor Ahmed Wani recently, have been putting pressure on his senior officers to revoke the order.
The order in this connection was issued by the DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua range Ashkoor Wani, five days ago. As per the order, seven Inspectors including four SHOs, in three different districts were transferred and adjusted.
SHO Trikuta Nagar Inspector Naveen Angral and SHO Gangyal Inspector Ajay Jamwal were transferred from Jammu to Kathua districts. SHO Lakhanpur Inspector Anuroop Kumar was transferred from Kathua to Jammu district.
Inspector Anu Radha was shifted from Jammu to Samba district. Inspector Ranvir Singh Bhau and Inspector Vijay Chaudhary were adjusted in Jammu district.
Inspector Yash Pal Jamwal, SHO Nowshera, who had been allotted Jammu-Samba-Kathua range, was adjusted in Samba district.
If the police sources are to be believed, while the others are running from pillar to post to revoke their transfer order, an influential inspector who is living in a luxurious Mansion Channi Himmat vicinity has used high level political links. This inspector who has managed Mansion in early 2k that too beyond his known income , in a posh locality of Jammu city area has strong connection with the BJP led ministers. Soon after the order was issued, he started pressurizing his senior bosses to get his order revoked as he was sitting in a prime Police Station.
The senior police officer is learnt to have assured the political bigwigs that the Inspector would be transferred back to Jammu once he joined his new place of posting. The senior officer's assurance did not digest to the powerful inspector and is continuously seen at the respective residences of ministers and his God father police officers. |
