Rajouri, Oct 20: Driver's Association of Rajouri Health Department' (DARHD) Rajouri today held its meeting at the complex of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at Jawaharnagar and elected its new executive body for next term. According to spokesperson DARHD Rajouri, atleast seventy drivers from various health blocks, from CMO and Deputy CMO officesparticipated in this election process and elected fourteen members to the executive body with Mohd Akram as its new president. The election was held under the guidance and presence of Anoop Singh Provincial President of Driver Association Jammu Health Department in active collaboration of Pardeep Vaid, Basaant Kumar and Ayaz Dar. Among others elected for the executive body included Mohd Taj and Ashok Handa as Senior Vice President and vice president respectively, Shahbaz as General Secretary, Babu Sarfraz and Prem Kumar as Advisors, Mohd Taj as Secretary and Abdul Rashid as Publicity Secretary.
Meanwhile Talib Mehmood , Bashir Hussain, Mohd Nasar, Pritam Dass, Mohd Ashraf and Pardeep Singh were elected as Block Presidents for Darhal, Kandi, Manjakot, Nowshera , Kalakot and Sunderbani blocks respectively. In his thanks giving address, Mohd Akram assured the members of the association for transparent and sympathetic approach towards their problems. He also sought the cooperation of Health Functionaries and District Administration in mitigating the problems of the drivers. |
