Udhampur, Oct 20: Manoj Kumar Sharma Nishchint eminent poet, writer, Senior Lecturer Physics and President Progressive Youth Society Ramnagar, attended Servas conference held at New Zealand. According to press release, Manoj has attended conference cum General Assembly in Totara Springs New Zealand from October 10 to 16, in which eight delegates from India participated. Manoj has already attended international events in Nepal, Bangladesh, SriLanka, Thailand, Malaysia, Israel and England. During the event about two hundred delegates/observers drawn from fifty eight countries of the world took part. The agenda of the conference was "Servas in transition" in which new member countries like Bangladesh, Vietnam and Rwanda were also included in Servas. New EXco with new working structure was elected through votes. Budget allocation for next three years was unanimously passed by the member countries. Next such conference will be held in South Korea during 2018. |
