IMS organises industrial visit for MCA students 10/21/2015 12:44:47 AM JAMMU, Oct 20 : A four day industrial visit for students of MCA (SEM 5TH) was organized by Institute of Management Science (IMS) from Oct 16-20, 2015, at Software Company Bon Digital Inc. (Mohali). During the visit, Students interacted with the COO, the Vice President and Business Development Manager of the organization, the executives of the company informed the students about exact gap where the students are unable to get a job in the industry. As per the senior executives of the company IT industry offers a bright career and the positions are available in the company, but only for those who qualify the employability skill tests. The company explored the students on live software projects and the process of execution and also guided on the industry requirements, besides technical skills i.e. Good communication skills and dynamic personality. After the technical test, three students were selected for training and to work on live projects after skill training. The visit was organized under the overall guidance of Assistant Professor Archana Sharma, Incharge Department of Computer Sciences (IMS) with a purpose that students should focus on every language having their own importance either its PHP/JAVA/DOT NET, they only need to focus on basics.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
