EWJAC demands release of 6 percent DA before Diwali | | | Jammu, Oct 20 : J&K Government Employees and Workers Joint Action Committee (EWJAC) appealed to the government for release of 6 percent DA July, 2015 before the coming Diwali festival. According to press release, meeting of EWJAC was held here today, which was attended by representatives of J&K Government Departments. Addressing the meeting, Babu Hussain Malik appealed to all the employees of all the employees' unions and Trade Union leaders to unite under a single umbrella to get the rights of the employees and urged upon the Chief Minister and Finance Minister to solve the burning demands of the employees. "Removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre by giving Grade of 4000-6000 to Junior Assistant and 4500-7000 to Senior Assistant and 5500-9000 to Head Assistant, Increase of Medical Allowance from Rs. 300/- p.m to Rs. 2000/- p.m, Dislocation of allowance to all the officials who are posted outside their home district", Malik demanded. He further demanded release of budget for early disposal of all the pending cases of G.P. Fund withdrawal. "Regularization of daily rated workers, contractual employees and Anganwari workers, provision of transfer for employees of Civil Secretariat to outside and outside employees to Civil Secretariat an merger of 50% D.A into Basic Pay", demanded in the meeting. |
