JAMMU, Oct 20 : Jammu district clinched the under-19 girls' title trophy in the inter-district State level Hockey tournament held under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at K K Hakhu Stadium, here today. In the final, Jammu girls outplayed district Baramulla by three goals to nil. Payal scored two goals while Pravleen added one goal.
Meanwhile, the girls' under-17 final won by district Pooch, who trounced hosts Jammu 2-0. Ishtia and Abhilove were the scorers. Today's finals officiated by the technical penal comprising Gurmeet Singh, Satvinder Singh, Karanjeet Singh, Mandeep Singh and Jajjit Singh. |
