POONCH, Oct 20: Stadium XI won the sub-junior boys Pooch District Hockey Championship beating Stadium-A 3-0 in the final played at Sports Stadium, here today. The competition is being organised by Hockey Poonch and sponsored by J&K State Sports Council.
Sarfaraz Ahmed ( 29th), Akash (47th ), and Azar (57th) were the scorers. The final was officiated by Mohd Showkat, Ishtiaq Ahmed and Mukesh Kumar. Earlier, the teams interacted with chief guest, incharge sports stadium, Nirdosh Kumar. This tournament is being held under the supervision of vice president Hockey J&K and former SAI hockey coach, Sham Lal Sharma. |
