JU SC/ST Employee Association holds meet 10/24/2015 12:19:18 AM JAMMU, Oct 23: The Jammu University SC/ST Employees Association today held meeting which was chaired by the Association President R.L.Kaith and attended by a large number of SC/ST employees. The President said that the SC/ST people of the State have not come at par with the evolved products of the society and as such the High Court of J&K judgment of Oct. 09, which abolished benefits of reservation in promotions, will deprive these people to rise up in the society. The Association urged upon the Chief Minister Mufti Mohd Sayeed to ensure equal upliftment and advancement of weaker sections in the State at all levels. Meanwhile, the Association also urged an early action on the representations submitted to the Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar during a meeting held in the office-chambers of the Vice-Chancellor on September 14, 2015.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
