Minister's Inspector brother-in-law calling shots in Police Deptt | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 23: A police Inspector, who is brother-in-law of a Minister in the State Government, is now-a-days calling the shots in department. He even refuses to take orders of his DySP and other seniors. While he is sure that his jeeja would manage a good posting for him in near future, he is at present posted at a place where he is not even remotely linked with the thana police. "He is simply an Inspector but refuses to take orders of his seniors," police sources alleged. Sources said he even "reprimands his juniors - havaldars and cops - for taking the orders of seniors without bringing the matters to his notice". After his jeeja became a Minister, his colleagues had noticed an abrupt change in his behaviour and attitude, sources said. "He leaves office without taking the permission of his seniors," sources alleged. Sources said he was hopeful that his Minister jeeja would get him posted as SHO of some "important" police station in Jammu city. His track record was not good, so the police headquarters was unlikely to post him the SHO of any police station here. |
