Kashmiri youth attacked by separatist sponsored stone-pelters battling for life
Slap PSA against accused, their masters
10/24/2015 12:35:28 AM
'If people involved in Udhampur attack can be booked under PSA why can't be the miscreants and their masters involved in the attack on Javaid at Charsoo Awantipora be dealt in a similar way."
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 23: Separatists left no stone unturned to turn the death of Zahid Rasool Bhat, set ablaze by a few miscreants along with his another colleague in Udhampur earlier this month, into a "golden chance" to vitiate the atmosphere in Kashmir.
Miscreants involved in Zahid's death have been arrested by Police and Government has provided adequate compensation to the family members of the deceased youth, but separatists are not allowing the tempers to cool down as their agents and hired men have been organizing stone pelting in south Kashmir since the day Zahid has died. They (separatists) have been beating their chests aloud and are making all the attempts to keep the pot boiling to appease their bosses sitting across the Line of Control.
The stone pelting orchestrated by separatists on Wednesday left a youth almost dead at Charsoo Awantipora in south Kashmir. Police identified injured as Javaid Ahmad Sofi son of Ghulam Ahmad Sofi of Sether village in Bijbehara area. He was first admitted to SMHS hospital and then shifted to SKIMS in Srinagar for specialized treatment. Javaid's relative had revealed that victim was hit by a stone on his forehead when he was sitting in a tanker driven by another person.
Police said that miscreants wanted to set ablaze the tanker and attacked its occupants with an intent to kill. " Javaid is battling for his life, while the driver of the tanker escaped and somehow saved the tanker," said a police official.
Separatists who wait for a chance to give strike calls and blow even a minor incident out of proportion have not uttered a word over attack on Javaid, who is the lone bread earner for his family, being attacked by the stonepelters. Attack on Javaid has raised many questions. Soon after Zahid and his colleagues were attacked in Udhampur Police swung into action and arrested the accused and slapped PSA against them within a few hours after the attack. Someone needs to ask the Police why it has not swung into action even 24 hours after Javaid was attacked and why culprits have not been identified and booked so far?
Had Javaid been injured in the action of security forces separatists would have made a beeline at SKIMS to attract the media attention and condemn the use of brute force. They would have sought the intervention of international human rights organizations to end the atrocities in Kashmir. Now when their own men are involved in attacking an innocent youth, they are not uttering a word. What a mockery!
Attack on Javaid has provided a golden opportunity to Police to act against the mischief mongers and their masters who wait for a chance to vitiate the atmosphere in Kashmir. If people involved in Udhampur attack can be booked under PSA why can't be the miscreants and their masters involved in the attack on Javaid at Charsoo Awantipora be dealt in a similar way.
Where is MLA Langate, Er Rashid, who provoked the Hindu community by hosting a beef party at MLA hostel in Srinagar, which led to Kashmiri truckers being attacked in Udhampur, why has he maintained silence over attack on Javaid?
So called Kashmiri leaders not uttering a word over brutal attack by stone pelters on a tanker and an innocent youth has exposed them and has proved it once again that they (so called representatives) of Kashmiris are nothing but the puppets of their masters sitting across the LoC.
