HC stays termination CLTCs 10/24/2015 12:33:32 AM Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 23: State High Court today stayed the termination of Experts in City Level Technical Cells (CLTCs) whe the petition was taken up here today. After hearing Adv Abhinav Sharma counsel of petitioners, Justice JR Kotwal observed issued notice to the state and directed them to file response within four weeks and in the meanwhile subject to objections, the impugned order of the petitioners shall remain stayed. This direction has been passed by Justice Janak Raj Kotwal after hearing Adv Abhinav Sharma appearing for the petitioner and observed that it is pointed out that Vide notification dated December 19, 2013 applications are invited for the contractual engagement of experts in City Level Techincal Cell in the state under Rajiv Awas Yojna. Adv Abhinav Sharma submitted that the engagement was to be for an initial period of two years, terminable by one months’ notice by J&K Housing Board and further submitted that the pursuant to this notification petitioners came to be appointed on March 7, 2015. It was also submitted to court that the order provides the contractual assignment shall be for two years or conterminous with the scheme and no candidate shall be any claim regularization and further submitted that that all the petitioners have been terminated because of disbanding of CLTCs which was challenged by the High Court.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
