POONCH, Nov 3 : Beating Stadium Yellow via tie-breaker, Power House Club lifted the District Poonch Hockey Tournament which was organized by Hockey Poonch at Sports Stadium, here today. Earlier, in the stipulated time the match ended in a 2-2 draw. For winning Power House Club, Shobit and Ishtiaq sounded the board in the 10th and 55th minute respectively while Sohail (17th) and Imran (26th) were the scorers from Stadium Yellow. The final was officiated by the technical penal comprising Mohd Showkat, Mukesh Kumra and Tanveer Ahmed. In the final and prize distribution function, Zonal Physical Education Officer (ZPEO), Narjeet Singh was = special guest, who interacted with the teams. He was accompanied by Incharge Sports Stadium, Nirdosh Kumar, Jatinder Singh and Jagjeet Singh. This tournament held under the aegis of Hockey Jammu and Kashmir and supervised by vice president, Sham Lal Sharma. |
