DSWO organizes Awareness Camp 11/3/2015 10:58:02 PM Early Times Report SAMBA, Nov 3: An awareness camp about Social Security Insurance Scheme Aasra was held at Ghagwal today by District Social Welafare Officer Samba Mushtaq Choudhary along with ACD Samba and BDO Ghagwal, Bhawani Attri.The camp was exclusively conducted for UMMEED workers and volunteers. The participants were briefed about the benefits of the scheme and its ongoing coverage. The Aasra Scheme is targeted to provide insurance cover to the following categories of the people with persons having annual income of less than Rs 75000, all widows and destitute. The person to be insured must be in the age group of 18-50 years of age. The state govt will pay the annual premium of the beneficiaries to be covered.
