Kathua, Nov 3: The District office of Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) is going to conduct a series of Entrepreneurship Awareness Programmes (EAPs) across the Kathua district.
The programme will be conducted in close coordination with the respective Block Development Officers (BDOs) in their concerned block offices, so as to disseminate & percolate the awareness regarding various centrally & state govt. sponsored schemes for the welfare of educated unemployed youth, especially HIMAYAT scheme of Ministry of Minorities(NMDFC-National Minorities & Development Finance Corporation) (Govt. of India),implemented & financed by JKEDI.
The scheme is devoid of any banking intervention, exclusively for the educated unemployed youth of Minority community (Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist & Parsi) to enable them to establish their own employment generating business ventures in different sectors of our economy like Manufacturing, Services, Tourism and Agriculture. |
