| NCP delegation calls on DC Kishtwar | | | early times repot
Kishtwar. Nov 3: A deputation of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) headed by Aijaz Naik unsuccessfully contested candidate from party today called on Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ghulam Nabi Balwan and took up the matter of black marketing of Kerosene Oil in Kishtwar District and demanded action against the CAPD officials and Kerosene dealers allegedly involved in black marketing.
Ajaiz Naik aware the Deputy Commissioner that public of Kishtwar are facing hardship at the hands of functionaries of CAPD officials added that Kerosene Oil depots remains mostly closed and operators of these depots after availing the supply of K oil, sold it in black market to commercial vehicles and close the same with the pretext that depot is out of stock. He also raised the issue of transporters in Kishtwar District charging fare from passengers according to their own will. Besides this he raised the issue of unhygienic water supply by the PHE department as water reservoirs of PHE are hardly being washed.
DC Kishtwar paid a keen ear to delegation and assured them that all the issues raised by them will be looked seriously and assured action against the black marketers.
The delegation comprises Sanjeet Kumar, Aiyaz Zargar, Mohammad Iqbal Shah, Raiz Ahmed , Mir Ubaid , Safeer Hussain and others. |
