Udhampur, Nov 3: The Rehmati colony people have complained of inconvenience at the hand of the people residing in slums.
According to them, they play loud music and use abusive language very often.
The colony people, according to reports, took up the matter with the slum dwellers without results. A society resident, Rattan Lal said the police was approached but nothing moved. "The police visited the area and promised prompt action. But till date nothing has been done and the problem stays there," he said.
The residents also fear outbreak of an epidemic as the slum dwellers rarely clean the area occupied by them. |
