According to sources that, many government schools were found locked in Rajwar Educational Zone, after it was learnt that, teachers were put on election duty.
Following some complainants, the Tehsildar Handwara took surprise visits to Zone Rajwar and found almost all schools locked, said sources.
Meanwhile when some reporters brought this chaos into the notice of some senior official of the education department in Kupwara district who briefly said if the report of schools were locked is found correct then stern action will be taken against the concerned.
