| GDC Kathua organizes feedback programme on NEP | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Nov 3: In Govt. Degree College (Boys) Kathua today organized programme to obtain feedback on the New Educatino Policy and also to discuss various aspects needed to be incorporated in the New Education Policy.
In this function, M.L.A Kathua Rajeev Jasrotia was the chief guest and DDC Kathua Ramesh Kumar, IAS was the guest of honour.
MLA Kathua, congratulated the students and staff of the college for their participation in the feedback programme on New Education Policy to be implemented by HRD Ministry, Government of India. MLA interacted with the stakeholders and graced the occasion with his benevolent presence. DDC Kathua Ramesh Kumar in his address, impressed upon the requirement of basic infrastructural facilities and to equip the institutions with learned and trained faculty.
Earlier, Principal of the college Dr. Nater Singh in his welcome address threw light on the various improvements in the New Education Policy.
He discussed in detail the need of various professional and job oriented courses to be introduced in the educational institutions for providing practical education to youth enabling them to harness employment opportunities that require skilled and trained manpower.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. B. L. Gupta emphasized on the importance of infrastructure required for transacting education through technology.
He also stressed upon digital literacy (e-skill) to transcend barriers of age, class and income. Dr. Ram Singh from Department of Education presented theme wise questionnaire to get feedback from the stakeholders. |
