CDC, JU nexus in book scam exposed, befooling colleagues: JYF 'High time for Governor to wake up & act against VC 11/3/2015 11:54:18 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 3: Jammu Youth Forum today protested against JK Sharma Director CDC for his involvement in the book scam came to light in central library of the university when he was posted as Spl. Secretary to the Vice Chancellor Jammu University, the hot seat of power. Addressing the gathering here today, President JYF Deepak Kumar said that soon after unearthing of the book scam, three member fact finding committee was constituted by the university authority to bring out the factual position of the case headed by Prof. Kuldip Raj Sharma. He a said that the committee has already submitted the fact-finding report to the VC since long, but making the mockery of the report, the Vice Chancellor has shelved the report for obvious reasons as the Director CDC is a close relative of the former who is trying his best and making futile efforts to save the guilty officer from stern action who continues to hold the chair of Director CDC. Criticizing the evasive attitude of the VC for his failure to take action against the delinquent officer and cutting him to size, the former is giving long rope to such an officer who is slur on the already sagging image of the university thereby perpetuating his policy of shielding officers with corrupt background and encouraging unhealthy agenda of favoritism and nepotism. He further said that the officer who is guilty of procuring the books for his daughter from the central library by misusing his official position, he has been further awarded by making him Vigilance Officer of Jammu University who is already a culprit and lost his trust for indulging into unlawful activity which smacks of the administrative prudence with which the university is being presently administered. Not only this, JK Sharma has also been made the in-charge of the Legal Section who is not the law knowing person and above all he is also one of the litigants against the university authority. He said that it is high time for the Chancellor of JU to wake up and act against Vice Chancellor, Jammu University who is giving illegal cover to such an officer having utterly failed to prove his fidelity towards the University of Jammu.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
