JAMMU, Nov 13: Mandeep Singh clinched the junior billiards title after he defeated his opponent Kanav in straight frames of 52-22, 50-23, 53-46 in the ongoing 23rd Jammu District Billiards and Snooker Championship at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here.
Now, Mandeep shall complete for his second title when he takes on his opponent in the junior snooker final slated for tomorrow at 1 pm at the same venue.
In the meantime, the senior billiards event got underway today with Jaideep Manocha, Vishal Abrol and Sohail Khalid making it to the semifinals stages of the competition. Earlier, in a preliminary round match, Jaideep outplayed Kashif in straight frames of 101-55, 100-64.
Meanwhile, in ongoing District Srinagar Billiards and Snooker Championship, junior snooker event was in progress with Atther, Zohaib, Aamir and Yawar making moving into the next round.
