jammu, Nov 13: The Jammu University, which is riddled with many wrongs, has at last taken cognizance of a November 2 Early Times report and decided to divest two professors of their additional charge.
The new item titled "One man, one position policy violated with impunity" highlighted how the JU authorities had violated the set norms to favour a "select" group of employees.
Taking a note of this news item, the JU authorities ordered to replace Prof Rajnikant with Prof Naresh Padha as HRDC Director and Prof Rajeev Ratan with Prof Jasveer Singh as the new provost of Boys Hostel, sources said.
Sources said the JU had still to go a long way as there were still many professors who were holding the additional charge of some departments. They should also be divested of their additional assignments and replaced with others, thereby strengthening the 'one man, one position policy'.
Sources hoped that good sense would prevail upon JU to correct the wrongs allegedly committed by it. |
