Kishtwar, Nov 13 Jammu & Kashmir Senior Citizen's Council (JKSCC) for peace and civil rights founder President, Abdul Majeed Bichoo along with state advisor Raiz Ahmed Zargar, Chief Organizer Romesh Sen organized Diwali Millan at Ashiana Orphanage centre Kishtwar.
The Diwali Milan was chaired by Sandeep Kumar Wazir, SSP Kishtwar while prominent educationist Som Nath Sharma Chief Guest and social activist Mushtaq Ahmed Qazi was the Guest of honour. The program was attended by several prominent personalities of Kishtwar including retired educationist, social workers, students and others. Citizen's council in recent past also organized Eid Millan followed by Diwali Millan which is just aim to promote brotherhood, communal harmony, peace and prosperity in the communal hit District of the state that has witnessed worst communal riots in 2013. Meanwhile State Council Member Qazi Mushtaq on this occasion also nominated the district Body for Kishtwar which included Manmohan Gupta (District President), Abdul Salam Butt (General Secretary), Romesh Sen (Chief Organizer), Zaffar Ali Doolwal (Vice President) and Abdul Rashid Giri (Secretary). |
