Rajouri, Nov 13: Continuing its drive against the absconders wanted in various criminal cases under the supervision of SSP Rajouri, the Police have arrested an accused evading arrest for the last more than three years and was reportedly wanted for further proceedings by the trial Court
Police said that the accused has been identified as Younis Khan s/o Mohd Khan r/o Tarkassi village.
"Following specific input about the movement of said absconder, a police team led by Mohd Jahangir, SHO Police Station Kotranka under the direction from Tajendir Singh, ASP laid a police naka against the criminals near Kandi village on Rajouri-Budhal road, police said.
Police also added that a case against the accused stands registered by the police in case FIR NO 16/2012 u/s 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) & 336 (act of endangering life or personal safety of others) RPC.
The accused was immediately taken into custody and was brought to the Police Station at Kotranka for further legal action. |
