Early Times Report Kishtwar, Nov 13: The Auqaf Islamia Kishtwar has been flayed for poor arrangements on the annual urs of ShahAsrar-ud-Din. The Auqaf was also criticized for its failure to organize annual day function of Islamia School Kishtwar. Talking to Early Times, several pilgrims accused the Administrator Shokhat Sheikh for the failure. "I have seen Auqaf employees decamping with offerings including ornaments, sheep and goats," said an auto driver Khalid Shah living in neighborhood of the shrine. He said that pilgrims were made to spend night in open. Reacting to the complaints, Tourist Officer Kishtwar Muddasir Kichloo said that Tourism Department handed over the Bitul Zireen complex to Auqaf Islamia Kishtwar on lease bases after proper documentation. Former MLA Inderwal Qazi Jalal ud Din said that the Auqaf management failed to make suitable arrangements and the annual day of the Islamia School. He said that the government will hold a complete audit so as to ascertain facts and a white paper will be presented before general public. |
