Rajouri, Nov 13: Police today claimed to have recovered 14 bags (50 kg each) of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) department dumped by a dealer for black marketing. A case has been registered against the accused and the license issued top him too stands suspended by the Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO) “The accused dealer has been identified as Mohd Iqbal s/o Mohd Din,” police sources said. “On Specific information Thannamandi police conducted a raid and recovered 14 bags (50 kg each) of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) department dumped by a dealer for black marketing, police said. Police added that the dealer has gone underground to evade his arrest while police have launched manhunt to nab him. “Station House Officer (SHO), Thannamandi conducted a raid in a house in village Phangai today and recovered the consignment of dumped Sugar, police sources said, adding, “a case stands registered against the accused while his license has been suspended by the concerned Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO) M Suri, immediately. “ A case under FIR NO 173/2015 u/s 3/7 EC Act and 409/109 RPC stands registered against accused and further investigations are in progress. |
